Es ist der 7. Juni um ungef\u00e4hr 18 Uhr. Ich sitze in einem Hotelzimmer in der N\u00e4he des M\u00fcnchener Flughafens. Es ist vorbei. Alles. Die letzte Person aus meinem alten Leben hat soeben die Zimmert\u00fcr geschlossen. Im Moment f\u00fchlt es sich so an als w\u00e4re mein komplettes bisheriges Leben verschwunden. Nicht mehr existent. Mir ist schlecht, kotzschlecht.<\/p>\n

Habe ich an alles gedacht? Bin ich da \u00fcberhaupt an die richtigen Leute geraten? Sind meine Vorstellungen auch nur halbwegs realistisch? War es denn die richtige Entscheidung? Habe ich \u00fcberhaupt eine Ahnung was genau ich da entschieden habe? Ich wei\u00df es nicht. In die Zukunft blicken kann wohl niemand, aber es ist definitiv ein guter Moment um kurz zur\u00fcckzublicken.<\/p>\n

Seit Februar habe ich ja nichts mehr von mir h\u00f6ren lassen. Zu besch\u00e4ftigt war ich irgendwie damit, meine gesch\u00e4tzten 50m\u00b2 vom M\u00fcll der letzten 20 Jahre zu befreien. Anfangs ging das recht z\u00fcgig, die wertvollen und gut verk\u00e4uflichen St\u00fccke waren dabei immer sehr schnell weg. Doch ein gro\u00dfer Teil von all dem Zeugs konnte ich selbst auf eBay nur noch mit Tricks loswerden. So manche Sachen habe ich verschenkt, viel wanderte auch einfach in den M\u00fcll.<\/p>\n

Doch waren es nicht nur rein materielle Werte, sondern es kamen auch viele emotionale Dinge zum Vorschein. Es sind halt nicht nur \u201eSachen\u201c die man da wegwirft bzw. zur\u00fcckl\u00e4sst. Also es war eine gewisse Belastung, doch andererseits auch unglaublich befreiend, dieses ganze Zeugs loszuwerden. Und loswerden musste ich eine ganze Menge, denn f\u00fcr den Umzug habe ich mich auf zwei je 23kg schwere Gep\u00e4ckst\u00fccke beschr\u00e4nkt.<\/p>\n

Losgeworden bin ich au\u00dferdem noch einige l\u00e4stige Gewohnheiten, um nicht zu sagen Abh\u00e4ngigkeiten. Rauchen und kaffeetrinken geh\u00f6ren f\u00fcr mich n\u00e4mlich schon seit Ende Februar zur Vergangenheit. Das hatte ich 2010 vor der Weltreise ja \u00e4hnlich gemacht. Nichtraucher war ich damals allerdings nur so lange, bis ich bei den Hippies<\/a> im australischen Busch landete. Aber das ist eine andere Geschichte.<\/p>\n

Sven und Lisa samt Louis haben ja schon Mitte Februar ihren \u00dcberseecontainer gepackt, verabschiedeten sich von Deutschland und wohnen seit Mitte M\u00e4rz in einem Mietshaus nahe unseres Grundst\u00fccks in Santa Fe. Wir waren fast t\u00e4glich in Kontakt, schlie\u00dflich gab es viel zu planen, zu besprechen und herauszufinden. Nach nunmehr drei Monaten haben sich die drei schon gut eingelebt.<\/p>\n

Sie haben reichlich Bekanntschaften gekn\u00fcpft, Informationen gesammelt und erste Details f\u00fcr die Bauarbeiten auf dem Grundst\u00fcck eingeholt. W\u00e4hrend die drei vor Ort flei\u00dfig waren, arbeitete ich hinter den Kulissen am Ausbau des Projekts. Meine Beitr\u00e4ge \u00fcber Panama und insbesondere die Finca Bayano<\/a> blieben n\u00e4mlich nicht unbemerkt. Schon bald hatte ich mehrere ernsthafte Interessenten, die einen Teil unseres 4 Hektar gro\u00dfen Grundst\u00fcckes kaufen, und sich mit uns quasi zusammentun wollten.<\/p>\n

Ich h\u00e4tte ja nie gedacht, dass wir \u00fcberhaupt Leute finden, die an sowas interessiert sind. Und schon gar nicht in der kurzen Zeit von nur einigen Monaten. Spannend das alles. Immerhin sind wir jetzt schon nicht mehr \u201enur\u201c zu zweit, sondern schon zu viert. Vielmehr sollten es jetzt aber nicht mehr werden. Ich freue mich jedenfalls und hoffe die richtigen Leute f\u00fcr so ein Vorhaben gefunden zu haben. Oder besser gesagt: Sie haben Simons World gefunden \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Okay. Mittlerweile sitze ich in 10.000 Metern H\u00f6he irgendwo \u00fcber der Karibik. In etwas mehr als einer Stunde werde ich in Panama landen. So richtig realisiert habe ich meine Situation glaube ich noch nicht. Ausgeweint habe ich jedenfalls. Oder doch nicht so ganz? Es wird sich zeigen. Die wochen- und monatelangen Abschiede sind jetzt immerhin vorbei.<\/p>\n

Irgendeine gro\u00dfe Abschiedsparty oder so habe ich ganz bewusst nicht gemacht. Es w\u00fcrde die Sache gr\u00f6\u00dfer machen als sie ist. Ich ziehe um. Na und? Ein besonderer \u201eMenschenfreund\u201c war ich ohnehin nie, und all die Leute die ich alle paar Jahre mal sehe\u2026warum soll ich die auf eine Party einladen? Die sollen mich doch beim n\u00e4chsten \u00d6sterreichurlaub besuchen und w\u00fcrden wahrscheinlich nicht mal einen Unterschied merken.<\/p>\n

Tausendmal habe ich dieselben Fragen beantwortet, wahrscheinlich jedes Mal anders. Die richtig ausf\u00fchrlichen Antworten werde ich bei Gelegenheit zusammenschreiben und ver\u00f6ffentlichen. Nur eines kann ich sagen: die saud\u00e4mliche Frage wie es meiner Mutter dabei geht ist einfach beantwortet: Beschissen! Genauso wie mir. Aber man muss tun was man tun muss. Ob sich das alles lohnt wird die Zukunft zeigen.<\/p>\n
