Die Zeit vergeht wie im Flug, schon wieder ist eine Woche vorbei. Das Wetter in Featherston hat sich mittlerweile beruhigt, und der Boden hatte sogar genug Zeit, trocken zu werden. Meine Pl\u00e4ne f\u00fcr die n\u00e4chsten Wochen sind mittlerweile auch etwas konkreter geworden. Die geplante Aufenthaltszeit in Neuseeland habe ich \u00fcbrigens von 60 auf 80 Tagen verl\u00e4ngert, bei gleichbleibendem Budget versteht sich.<\/p>\n

Am Montag werde ich mit ein paar Kiwis von Wellington nach Auckland fahren, wo ich mir bereits einen Privat Room in einem Apartment reserviert habe. Warum? Die Hostels in dieser Stadt sind eine Katastrophe. Wenn man nicht zwischen Schimmel und Kakerlaken schlafen will, muss man mehr als 30$ die Nacht hinlegen, und ist dann trotzdem in einem Schlafsaal mit 6 oder mehr Leuten. F\u00fcr ein paar Dollar mehr gibt es aber mitten im City Centre die erw\u00e4hnten Apartments. Diesen Luxus leiste ich mir \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

\"baking\"<\/a>Es bleibt mir dann genug Zeit die Stadt zu erkunden, bevor ich am 1. Mai die Helen treffen, und gemeinsam mit ihr im Jucy Mietwagen 7 Tage durch Northland fahren werde. Mit etwas Gl\u00fcck erfahre ich dann auch schon, ob es mit meinem Sailing Trip nach Tonga etwas wird. Ich m\u00f6chte n\u00e4mlich in Russell einen deutschen Skipper treffen, der eventuell eine Koje f\u00fcr mich frei hat. Jetzt kann ich nur noch hoffen, dass das Wetter auch mitspielt. Helen wird \u00fcbrigens mein f\u00fcnftes weibliches Travelmate sein. Als ich in Gegenwart von Christoph die Theorie aufgestellt habe, dass ich auf Frauen wohl einen sehr vertrauensw\u00fcrdigen Eindruck machen w\u00fcrde, meinte dieser, dass ich wahrscheinlich nur Mutterinstinkte wecken w\u00fcrde\u2026.ha ha ha.<\/p>\n

Apropos Christoph. Er und seine bessere H\u00e4lfte wurden gestern offiziell zu neuseel\u00e4ndischen Staatsb\u00fcrgern gemacht. W\u00e4hrend sie bei der Zeremonie waren, habe ich im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes schlafend auf die Kinder aufgepasst.<\/p>\n

Heute ist in Neuseeland Good Friday, bei uns auch bekannt als Karfreitag. Es ist einer der zwei Tage im Jahr, an denen das Land komplett still steht, und fast alle Gesch\u00e4fte geschlossen haben. Das extralange Wochenende nutzen nat\u00fcrlich auch viele Kiwis dazu, ein paar Tage Urlaub zu machen, und ihr sch\u00f6nes Land zu erkunden. \u00dcberraschenderweise spielt dabei sogar das Wetter mit, denn der Gro\u00dfteil der Insel bleibt heute von Regen verschont.<\/p>\n

Was gibt es sonst noch Neues? Eigentlich nicht viel. Ich werde meine letzten zwei Tage in Featherston genie\u00dfen, bevor ich dann am Ostermontag in aller Fr\u00fch Richtung Auckland aufbrechen werde.<\/p>\n

Freut euch auf viele tolle Bilder der City of Sails, die \u00fcbrigens auf \u00fcber 50 inaktiven Vulkanen erbaut wurde. Wollen wir mal hoffen, dass die Krater auch f\u00fcr die n\u00e4chsten Wochen inaktiv bleiben \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
