Nachdem aus dem Treffen mit dem Travelmate in Wellington nichts geworden ist, war ich schon fast dabei ein Busticket zu kaufen. Dann fiel mir das Inserat von Andy auf Gumtree auf. Er hat ein eigenes Auto, Campingausr\u00fcstung usw. ist momentan in Christchurch und will 4-5 Wochen auf der S\u00fcdinsel rumkurven. H\u00f6rte sich toll an und ich hab ihm gleich mal geschrieben.<\/p>\n

Nach einigen SMS war alles klar. Ich kaufte mir sogleich ein Flugticket nach Christchurch, mit der Gewissheit vom Flughafen abgeholt zu werden und dann gem\u00fctlich durch die Gegend zu fahren. Fehlanzeige. Grade eben kam die Absage. Er h\u00e4tte jemanden getroffen und w\u00fcrde noch heute von Christchurch losfahren\u2026na toll, was nun?<\/p>\n

Plan B. Den Flug ins Erdbebengebiet werde ich auf keinen Fall verfallen lassen, und werde morgen wie geplant um 15:40 Uhr von Wellington Richtung S\u00fcden fliegen. F\u00fcr die erste Nacht habe ich mir bereits ein Hostel gebucht. Nicht das billigste, aber immerhin eines das das Erdbeben \u00fcberstanden hat und sogar hei\u00dfe Duschen hat \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Weiter geht es dann mit dem Stray Backpacker Bus<\/a>. Dort gibt es momentan tolle Angebote<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Mit der aktuellen Aktion und einem Gutschein Code bekomme ich den Short Max Pass f\u00fcr 524$ statt 1.145$.
\nAchja, die Konkurrenz w\u00e4re noch um 70$ billiger, aber ich habe keine Lust mit besoffenen Engl\u00e4ndern drei Wochen im Kiwi Experience Bus zu sitzen.
\nDer Stray Bus bringt mich auch rund um Neuseeland. Von Queenstown bis nach Auckland. Das Ganze funktioniert nach dem Hop-On Hop-Off Prinzip. Man kann \u00fcberall entlang der Route raush\u00fcpfen und sobald man alles gesehen hat weiterfahren.<\/p>\n

Der einzige Nachteil ist das ich halt jetzt \u00fcberall f\u00fcr \u00dcbernachtungen bezahlen muss. 30$ pro Nacht f\u00fcr ein Bett das summiert sich\u2026<\/p>\n

Das n\u00e4chste Update gibt es morgen direkt aus Christchurch \u2013 wo heute \u00fcbrigens 5 Erdbeben waren. Und der Tag ist noch nicht vorbei. Ich bin ja mal gespannt \ud83d\ude42
