Willkommen zur\u00fcck in unserem Frankreich Urlaub, wo wir uns gerade von den Strapazen der ersten Nacht erholten. Im Gegensatz zu Wien und Venedig hatten wir hier mit so einigen Mosquitos zu k\u00e4mpfen. Ein klares Zeichen, dass wir w\u00e4rmere Gefilde erreicht haben. Zum ersten Mal seit unserer Ankunft in Europa, konnten wir n\u00e4mlich auch im T-Shirt und ohne Socken die Wohnung verlassen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zuerst erkundigten wir ein wenig die Gegend im unmittelbaren Umfeld. In einer von tausenden Ferienwohnungen hier, h\u00e4tten wir ohne Google Maps und GPS ziemlich gleich die Orientierung verloren. Alles sah sehr \u00e4hnlich aus, doch eine Baustelle mit Kran direkt neben unserer Wohnung half dann ein bisschen bei der Orientierung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zum ersten Mal mit Elektrorollern unterwegs, mussten wir sowieso mal ganz vorsichtig anfangen. Also fuhren wir direkt runter Richtung Meer, wo wir in einer riesigen Wohnwagensiedlung landeten. Jemand hat die Plastikbomber allerdings in h\u00f6lzerne Fassaden gekleidet und mit schnuckligen Verandas ausgestattet, sodass die N\u00e4chtigung dort in so einem Ding in der Hochsaison gerne mal vierstellig kosten kann.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anfang Juni war allerdings noch nicht so viel los und wir fuhren durch endlose Reihen mit hunderten dieser Konstruktionen, wobei die meisten noch unbewohnt schienen. Nachdem wir uns durch dieses Labyrinth gek\u00e4mpft hatten, landeten wir schlie\u00dflich am Strand von Port Grimaud, direkt neben dem Hafen. Es war ein angenehmer Tag, sonnig mit leichter Bew\u00f6lkung und rund 23\u00b0C im Schatten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

F\u00fcr mich alten Jammerlappen war das zum Baden nat\u00fcrlich deutlich zu kalt, zumal die Wassertemperatur sogar noch unter 20\u00b0 C lag. Badesachen hatten wir sowieso grad keine eingepackt und bevor wir mit den Rollern im Sand versinken konnten, ging es auch schon weiter entlang der K\u00fcste Richtung Hafen. Und dort waren wir sofort in einem D\u00e9j\u00e0-vu gefangen. Mit den Kan\u00e4len, Br\u00fccken und Fu\u00dfg\u00e4ngerwegen sah es schon wieder verd\u00e4chtig nach Venedig aus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Und tats\u00e4chlich, die Ortschaft Port Grimaud ist in Wahrheit eine Planstadt und wurde ab Mitte der 60er Jahre mit Venedig als Vorbild aus dem Boden gestampft. Die Stahlbeton Reihenh\u00e4uschen haben jetzt zwar keinen Plattenbaucharakter, wohl aber eigene Bootsanlegepl\u00e4tze f\u00fcr die Privatjachten. Der Preis dieser Wohneinheiten berechnet sich auch ganz einfach: Pro Meter Breite eine halbe Million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unsere Tour auf den Elektrorollern ging weiter durch den Hafen, wo wir bis ans Ende einer Mole ins Meer hinausfuhren. Die im Wind flatternde franz\u00f6sische Flagge musste dabei als Fotokulisse herhalten. Dann war es bereits am sp\u00e4ten Nachmittag und wir machten uns langsam auf zur\u00fcck in die Wohnung, wo wir noch Baguette und Tr\u00fcffelk\u00e4se essen sowie Rotwein trinken mussten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eben fast so wie Gott in Frankreich. Und genau so ging es am n\u00e4chsten Tag weiter, wo wir im Prinzip nochmal das gleiche machten. Diesmal jedoch ein wenig weiter weg und entlang der K\u00fcste. Mit den Elektrorollern waren wir mittlerweile bestens vertraut und nutzten das gut ausgebaute Netzwerk von Radwegen, um die Gegend zu erkunden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Richtung Sainte-Maxime fuhren wir parallel zur komplett verstopften Hauptstra\u00dfe. Nachdem wir an einem weiteren dutzend Campingpl\u00e4tzen vorbei waren, begannen sich die Villen aneinander zu reihen. Wir erkundeten zahlreiche Strandabschnitte, versteckte Buchten und bewunderten das \u00fcberall pr\u00e4sente t\u00fcrkisblaue Wasser. Wenn es blo\u00df nicht so kalt gewesen w\u00e4re.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Auch die unmittelbare N\u00e4he zur Stra\u00dfe und der entsprechende L\u00e4rm und Gestank lie\u00df bei mir jetzt nicht unbedingt Urlaubsstimmung aufkommen. Yuly lie\u00df sich davon allerdings nicht beeindrucken, h\u00fcpfte fr\u00f6hlich durch den Sand und posierte f\u00fcr Fotos. Auch am Strand von La Croisette waren wir. Das klingt jetzt irgendwie nach was zu Essen und ich habe Hunger. Egal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die ganze K\u00fcste hier in dieser urbanen Gegend war sowieso mit allerhand Einrichtungen ausgestattet. Von Duschen und WCs \u00fcber Picknicktische bis zu einer Art Fitnessstudio unter freiem Himmel war an der Strandpromenade alles zu finden. Und die war auch ganz h\u00fcbsch angelegt. F\u00fcr das Publikum der teuren Restaurants und Nachtclubs in der Gegend, muss das Umfeld nat\u00fcrlich auch passen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Doch f\u00fcr uns war es wieder mal genug und wir machten uns auf zur\u00fcck in die Wohnung. Nach einem selbstgekochten Mittagessen wollten wir dann auch mal die Wohnanlage erkunden. Dort gab es eine W\u00e4scherei, wo wir unsere W\u00e4sche in eine Maschine steckten. Um die Wartezeit zu verk\u00fcrzen, machten wir es uns am Pool gem\u00fctlich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Und da war auch gar nicht viel los und ich lie\u00df mich sogar \u00fcberreden, in die Chlorbr\u00fche hinein zu steigen. Wobei ich am Schluss eher Yuly \u00fcberreden musste, denn mehr als kn\u00f6cheltiefes Wasser l\u00f6st bei ihr Unbehagen aus. Naja, lustig hatten wir es auf jeden Fall. Und nachdem die W\u00e4sche auch im Trockner war, kam auch schon der Pool Boy und sperrte den Pool f\u00fcr heute zu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Auf dem Balkon unserer Wohnung machten wir es uns sodann gem\u00fctlich, tranken noch ein bisschen mehr Wein und a\u00dfen noch ein bisschen mehr K\u00e4se. Yuly hatte schon flei\u00dfig Programm f\u00fcr die n\u00e4chsten Tage herausgesucht. Naja, ein bisschen was anschauen werden wir uns hier auf jeden Fall noch.
