{"id":1521,"date":"2011-10-26T10:52:08","date_gmt":"2011-10-26T08:52:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.simons-world.at\/rtw\/?p=1521"},"modified":"2015-11-15T02:44:00","modified_gmt":"2015-11-15T00:44:00","slug":"moving-on","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.simons-world.at\/rtw\/moving-on\/","title":{"rendered":"Moving On"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>25.-26.10.2011<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Die letzten zwei Tage habe ich mehr oder weniger nur gefaulenzt und mich ein bisschen von der Reef Safari erholt. Ich wohne in der Happy Lagoon direkt im Zentrum von Khao Lak. Der Komplex besteht aus g\u00fcnstigen kleinen Zimmern, gro\u00dfen Bungalows und einem Restaurant. Dort habe ich mittlerweile schon fast alle Speisen unter 100 Baht probiert und nutze flei\u00dfig das gratis Internet.<\/p>\n<p>Au\u00dferdem hab ich mal etwas gemacht das ich sonst nie tue \u2013 Nachrichten lesen. Dabei habe ich erst das Ausma\u00df der Flutkatastrophe in Thailand mitbekommen. Hier im S\u00fcden ist nicht wirklich etwas davon zu sp\u00fcren, doch im Norden von Bangkok und mittlerweile auch in vielen Gebieten der 11 Millionen Einwohner Metropole steht das Wasser knietief.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.simons-world.at\/rtw\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/320846.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-1524 size-medium\" title=\"Hochwasser in Thailand - Satellitenbild\" src=\"https:\/\/www.simons-world.at\/rtw\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/320846-262x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"262\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.simons-world.at\/rtw\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/320846-262x300.jpg 262w, https:\/\/www.simons-world.at\/rtw\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/320846.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 262px) 100vw, 262px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Es gibt sehr wohl noch trockene Gegenden in der Stadt, doch ich m\u00f6chte jetzt nicht unbedingt in ein Katastrophengebiet reisen. Beschweren kann ich mich eigentlich auch nicht, denn ich bin dem Hochwasser in Australien, dem Erdbeben in Neuseeland und dem Zyklon in Fidschi elegant aus dem Weg gegangen und hatte eigentlich immer Gl\u00fcck mit meiner Reiseplanung. Doch jetzt musste ich meine urspr\u00fcnglichen Thailand Pl\u00e4ne \u00fcber den Haufen werfen und nach Alternativen suchen.<\/p>\n<p>Die habe ich auch gefunden und werde morgen in der Fr\u00fch mit einem Minibus nach Krabi fahren. Die kleine Stadt befindet sich rund 120km s\u00fcdlich von Khao Lak und soll ein ruhiger und vor allem g\u00fcnstiger Ort f\u00fcr Backpacker sein. Dort werde ich ein paar Tage verbringen und dann Anfang n\u00e4chster Woche mit dem Flieger direkt nach Chiang Mai im Norden von Thailand fliegen.
