Mein Ziel war es, als einer der ersten Einzuchecken und mir einen der begehrten Exit Row Seats zu holen. Das klappte auch ganz wunderbar und ich verbrachte die etwas mehr als 8 Stunden Flugzeit mit ausgestreckten Beinen zwischen alten Leuten und schreienden Babys.<\/p>\n<p>Aber halb so schlimm, denn mit dem Onboard Entertainment System von Etihad konnte man diese Ger\u00e4uschquellen gut \u00fcberdecken und der Flug war ruckzuck vorbei. Am Flughafen in Singapur angekommen holte ich meinen Rucksack von der Gep\u00e4ckausgabe ab, wurde im schnellverfahren kontrolliert und dann in die Freiheit entlassen. Als ich zum ersten Mal das klimaanlagengek\u00fchlte Geb\u00e4ude verlie\u00df und gegen eine Wand hei\u00dfer, feuchter Luft lief, beschlug sogar meine Brille. Unglaublich.<\/p>\n<p>Mit dem Airport Shuttle ging es knapp 90 Minuten quer durch die Stadt, bis ich endlich an meinem Hostel, dem <a title=\"Fern Loft Chinatown, Singapore\" href=\"http:\/\/www.fernloft.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Fern Loft City in Chinatown<\/a> abgeladen wurde. Ich ging noch schnell um die Ecke in einen der Foodcourts und lie\u00df mich sauber \u00fcber den Tisch ziehen. Das Essen, bestehend aus einem Fisch, Reis und Gem\u00fcse kostete mich 3,50 Singapur Dollar. Ich sa\u00df keine 10 Sekunden am Tisch als eine Frau angerannt kam und fragte, ob ich denn ein Bier wolle. Nat\u00fcrlich! Wenig sp\u00e4ter war sie mit einer riesigen Flasche Tiger Beer zur\u00fcck und verlangte stattliche 5,70 Dollar daf\u00fcr. Nicht schlecht.
