Eigentlich wei\u00df ich schon gar nicht mehr wo ich anfangen soll, also beginnen wir doch direkt bei der Casita Simon. Seit Mitte letzten Jahres bewohne ich das Haus, doch von fertig ist es immer noch weit entfernt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seit neustem bin ich ja nicht mehr alleine in dem kleinen H\u00e4uschen. H\u00f6chste Zeit also, die offensichtlichsten Dinge fertigzustellen. So wie zum Beispiel die fehlende Wandfarbe an der Au\u00dfenseite. Bereits bei ihrem ersten Besuch im Dezember zeigte sich Kathi durchaus t\u00fcchtig und wir verbrachten einen Tag damit, die wei\u00dfe Grundierungsfarbe aufzutragen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zumindest auf den zwei W\u00e4nden beim Eingang bzw. der Terrasse. Entlang der beiden anderen W\u00e4nde fehlte mir noch ein schmaler Gehweg aus Beton. So sollte man auch an regnerischen Tagen trockenen Fu\u00dfes rund ums Haus laufen k\u00f6nnen. Geplant war es ohnehin schon l\u00e4ngst und so hatte ich auch alle n\u00f6tigen Materialien bereits auf Lager liegen. Waren die Umrisse erstmal abgesteckt, folgte die Bewehrung und einen Tag sp\u00e4ter schlie\u00dflich der Beton. Eine gef\u00fchlte Ewigkeit ist es her, als ich zuletzt an der Mischtrommel stand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zu dritt hatten wir die knapp 15 Meter Weg auch schon im Handumdrehen fertiggestellt. Und so konnte ich zusammen mit Kathi erneut den Pinsel schwingen. Bis auf wenige Meter an der Vorderseite, erstrahlt die ganze Casita Simon nun in einem gr\u00e4ulichen beigen Ton. Das Z\u00e4hneputzen in der K\u00fcche wurde langsam l\u00e4stig und ein Spiegel an der Wand w\u00e4re langsam aber sicher auch nicht schlecht. Also begann ich erstmal damit, einen Holzrahmen f\u00fcr den Waschtisch zu basteln.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ein h\u00fcbsches Edelstahl Tisch F\u00fc\u00dfchen hatte ich schon vor langer Zeit besorgt. Auf dem einzigen Bein meines Waschtisches sah es auch ganz gut aus. Die Holzarbeiten waren wie immer einfach und schnell erledigt. Doch einen extremen Kampf hatte ich mit der Granitplatte, in welche ich Aussparungen f\u00fcr das Waschbecken sowie den Wasserhahn fr\u00e4sen musste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Das rechteckige Loch f\u00fcr das Waschbecken hatte ich in wenigen Minuten mit der Flex erledigt. Die Stelle wird sp\u00e4ter nicht sichtbar sein, weshalb der Schnitt auch nicht sonderlich pr\u00e4zise sein musste. Das runde Loch f\u00fcr den Wasserhahn musste allerdings millimetergenau ausfallen. Am Schluss hatte ich auch ein Loch, was allerdings einen Millimeter zu klein war. Der Wasserhahn lie\u00df sich nicht durchstecken. Mit Michaels Dremel fr\u00e4ste ich das Loch ein wenig aus und zu guter Letzt passte auch der Wasserhahn. Auf dem Holzrahmen montiert hatte ich die Granitplatte im nu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jetzt k\u00fcmmerte ich mich erstmal um die Wasser- sowie Abwasseranschl\u00fcsse und \u00e4rgerte mich wie jedes Mal mit den zahlreichen verschiedenen Gewinden und Rohrdurchmessern herum. Am Ende floss das Wasser aus dem Hahn und hinunter in den Abfluss, ohne irgendwo an unerw\u00fcnschten Stellen auszutreten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Munter weiter ging es mit den Badezimmer Accessoires, die ich St\u00fcck f\u00fcr St\u00fcck an den W\u00e4nden befestigte. Klopapierhalter und Handtuchhalter waren dabei nur der Anfang. Das zentrale St\u00fcck des Waschtisches war nat\u00fcrlich der Spiegel, wo ich mich f\u00fcr ein rechteckiges Exemplar mit vier kleinen Glasregalen entschied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Quadratisch, praktisch, gut. Unter dem Waschtisch blieb jetzt noch gen\u00fcgend Platz f\u00fcr den W\u00e4schekorb sowie einen kleinen Stoffschrank. Perfekt. Das Badezimmer verdient nun seinen Namen und ist bis auf ein paar Details wirklich fertig. Was mir allerdings immer noch fehlte war warmes Wasser. Fette Kupferkabel und ein paar Sanit\u00e4rschl\u00e4uche sp\u00e4ter, war die Sache auch schon erledigt. Im Gegensatz zu unserem Badezimmer am Hostel, verwende ich in meinem H\u00e4uschen einen Stromerhitzer. Er arbeitet digital und erw\u00e4rmt das Wasser abh\u00e4ngig von der Ausgangstemperatur und der Durchflussmenge auf eine eingestellte Zieltemperatur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mit der Durchflussmenge steigt also auch der Stromverbrauch, was die improvisierte Infrastruktur unserer Finca schnell in die Knie zwingen kann. Nennleistung hat der kleine Apparat immerhin 13kW. Um gr\u00f6\u00dfere Probleme auszuschlie\u00dfen, montierte ich einen Sanit\u00e4rschlauch mit sehr geringem Durchmesser. Bis jetzt war die Strategie erfolgreich, mein Warmwasser erzeuge ich nun sehr flexibel und komfortabel, ohne dabei das Stromnetz allzu sehr zu belasten. Wie sich das Ganze auf l\u00e4ngere Sicht gegen\u00fcber dem Gaserhitzer bew\u00e4hrt, wird die Zukunft zeigen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meine Stromrechnung belastet der Erhitzer \u00fcbrigens nur geringf\u00fcgig. Letztens musste ich drei Mal nachrechnen, weil ich es irgendwie nicht glauben konnte. Dividiere ich den Rechnungsbetrag durch die Anzahl der kW\/h meiner letzten Abrechnung, komme ich auf unglaubliche 5 Cent die Kilowattstunde. Energiekrise? Nicht in Panama. Energie haben wir alle hier sowieso mehr als genug, und zwar nicht nur aus der Steckdose.
