{"id":1004,"date":"2011-05-17T08:06:38","date_gmt":"2011-05-17T07:06:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.simons-world.at\/rtw\/?p=1004"},"modified":"2015-11-14T17:11:47","modified_gmt":"2015-11-14T15:11:47","slug":"tongariro-national-park","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.simons-world.at\/rtw\/tongariro-national-park\/","title":{"rendered":"Tongariro National Park"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>14.05.2010<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nach einer sehr kurzen Nacht, machten wir uns bereits um 6:30 Uhr auf den Weg zum <a title=\"Tongariro National Park auf Tripadvisor\" href=\"http:\/\/www.tripadvisor.de\/Tourism-g616351-Tongariro_National_Park_North_Island-Vacations.html\" target=\"_blank\">Tongariro National Park<\/a>. Rund die H\u00e4lfte des Busses wollte das ber\u00fchmte Tongariro Alpine Crossing machen, und 20km quer durch die Vulkanlandschaft spazieren.<\/p>\n<p>Es ist keine Frage, dass ich nicht zu denen geh\u00f6rt habe. Das Wetter war beschissen, und ich bin froh dass es so war, denn so habe ich wenigstens eine gute Ausrede. Bei Regen den ganzen Tag zu wandern geh\u00f6rt echt nicht zu meinen Hobbies\u2026ehrlich gesagt auch nicht bei Sch\u00f6nwetter \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Ich und die anderen faulen Leute setzten sich lieber gem\u00fctlich vor den Kamin unserer Unterkunft, der <a href=\"http:\/\/www.the-park.co.nz\/\" target=\"blank\">Park Travellers Lodge<\/a> im National Park. Am Nachmittag, als der Regen eine kurze Pause einlegte, machten wir uns auf zu einem kleinen Spaziergang auf dem Taranaki Walk.<\/p>\n<p>Auf dem Weg dahin stoppten wir auch kurz bei einem sehr beliebten Fotomotiv. Ein Achtung Kiwi Schild, auf dem jemand dem Kiwi ein paar Ski aufgemalt hatte. Mittlerweile hat wohl auch noch jemand seine Unterschrift daruntergesetzt, aber was soll\u2018s.<\/p>\n<p>Es ist ohne Frage eine beeindruckende Gegend, aber leider konnte man den Gro\u00dfteil davon aufgrund von Wolken und Nebel nicht sehen. Irgendwo zwischen der grauen Suppe verbarg sich der Mt Doom, jener Berg in dem Frodo in Lord of the Rings \u201ethe One Ring\u201c vernichtet hat.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-8110 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.simons-world.at\/rtw\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/Tongariro-National-Park1-e1447513603895.jpg\" alt=\"Tongariro-National-Park1\" width=\"720\" height=\"346\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-8111 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.simons-world.at\/rtw\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/Tongariro-National-Park-e1447513610683.jpg\" alt=\"Tongariro-National-Park\" width=\"720\" height=\"361\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Nach dem kleinen Ausflug ging es wieder zur\u00fcck zur Lodge, wo ich mich ins Zimmer verkroch und ein wenig relaxte.
